He should've at least avoided all the damn singles and include quality album tracks. Not shitty songs like Summertime

What I got from this list is:

Jon loves Jack White
Jon seems to like Green Day (wonder what will Billie Joe Armstrong say now lol)
Jon loves his indie rock
Jon doesn't love 80s and early 90s rock

I've seen worse lists. The funny thing is that you can see where Jon gets his influences for modern BJ sound and I certainly don't like those bands, but since it still sounds like BJ at the end of the day I'm not complaining. I wouldn't like them to sound like in the 80s, that's for sure

Thumbs up for including Counting Crows, they are very underrated

The album. Not that song. Why would he hate a song he wrote? Lyrically is not much worse than others penned by him

I don't recall Jon ever saying he hated that song. Not that it matters anyway, it's a single, it was on Cross Road, hence it's a hit!!!1!!!!

I suppose if Jon is already working on the composition of a new album, maybe we could predict that 2019 will have a new album, or who knows, could even happen by the end of 2018. This band does not stop.

I wonder if there would be a search for new sounds/style, or they continue with the line of BB / THINFS?
