Default Richie on TMZ Live

I just saw Richie on TMZ Live, first off, he looks good. He looks rested and happy. Interesting no mention of Jon or the band, interesting because TMZ is a gossip show, you would think they would ask, what they did talk about was why Bon Jovi was not in the RnR Hall of fame, which the hosts of the show seemed puzzled by why they were not there. Richie's answer was it was all politics, which I would agree, also one of the hosts asked him what are the politics of the RnR HOF, Richie gave I thought was a smart answer, if he knew what they were he would use it! He was promoting his appearence at the Kentucky Derby this weekend, also he is doing an auction on one of his guitars for charity, don't remember which one. Happy he is doing well, BTW, Ori was not there.

Thanks for the update.

Yesterday on Feedback on Volume they were also talking about bands that should be in the HOF but aren't. They brought up Bon Jovi and Nik talked about Jon saying it was one MFer keeping them out on Howard Stern's show last fall. They also mentioned that 80's bands in general and metal is overlooked. They used Def Leppard as another example.

The politics is that one of the judges, Dave Marsh, is married to one of Bruce Springsteen's managers. And having publicly stated that he'll do everything to keep Bon Jovi out of the Hall, you'd think he'd have the decency to recuse himself.

That is what Richie probably meant, but didn't really want to say it out loud.

Why. The. ****. Does. Anyone. Care. About. The. Rock. Hall. Of. Fame.

They're the most pretentious, stupid, idiotic people on the planet that get paid way too much to give their opinion on what they think is "good" music.
