Default Jon at Songwriters Hall of Fame Ceremony

Here are some pix of Jon tonight at the Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony, he inducted Max Martin, as you know, he co-wrote "It's My Life", https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DCZ_T-AUAAAHNyT.jpg

When it comes to making a pop hit, Max Martin is probably the best in the game to do it. Very much deserved induction. I'd love if he and Jon worked together again for their next single and not the usual Shanks/Falcon combo for once. This induction shows that there's still a relationship between them.

However, very strange choice to have Jon induct when they only worked together on a couple of songs. Granted, one of them (IML) became one of their most important hits in their career, but there are still other artists for whom I'd say Max has definitely have more of an impact, e.g. Britney Spears, Backstreet boys, Taylor Swift or Katy Perry.

Maybe Max personally wanted Jon to inducted him, certainly Taylor Swift could have done this to.

I think Jon is the most reputable individual to induct him... In terms of accomplishments, song writing, and age...

I feel that since Taylor became a pop star, her credibility as a serious artist has decreased... All her songs are about how she gets cheated on...

Hopefully this meeting has sparked some discussion about future projects... Anything different from the norm...

Agreed. Without sounding disrespectful to the others, I think Jon would be the best choice induct him in terms of speech and what he has achieved over a longer period of time etc.

Now that's a surprise.
I always had the feeling Jon wasn't too happy when someone mentioned the name Max Martin in the presence of his after all those rumours about the real writing credits for IML.

Not small enough, LOL -- did Pitbull HAVE to be first? And were Jon's ulterior motives in introducing Martin and performing IMY as a violin-accompanied ballad to further entrench Bon Jovi into the pop genre?

But seriously, folks, mega congrats to Ed Sheeran -- these days, habitually selling out stadiums with nothing more than your songs and an acoustic guitar is no small feat.

Jon couldn't even handle the vocals of the TLFR properly here - I don't want to think about the sound we'd have gotten if he went for the original cut
