Default BJ & Queen

Have they ever met?
Has Jon ever said anything about Queen or Freddy? The other way around?
I just wanted to know as they're both great and very different bands.

Brian May joined the band onstage in the late 80's at Wembley. Think theres footage of this on Access All Areas.

I can't give you an exact quote, but Jon has talked about being a Queen fan and FM being one of the most amazing vocalists ever.

I think that BJ never did a Queen song. Is this correct?

Roger Taylor played with the band in Tokyo a while back, I think I saw a video on YouTube of them playing Bed Of Roses. Not sure on what they think of them, and I'm not aware of them having covered any songs though.

I'm fairly sure BJ played 'We Will Rock You' at Donington in '87. Can't remember them covering any other Quuen songs though.

Brian May also appeared with BJ at the Brits one year, performing 'I'll Sleep When I'm Dead' along with Dina Carroll (I think it was her, could be wrong)

Also remember a quote from Jon/Richie/David from years back, where after performing with BJ at Wembley Arena, Brian May had told them to remember to enjoy the moment. He said they reminded him of Queen, in that they also forgot to enjoy the sucess. Or something along those lines. Memory's not what it was.

They used to play We Will Rock You on Slippery-tour. Though I´m not sure if it was the whole song or just a small part of it.

Not quite a cover, but on the Live From London DVD they've got WWRY as their intro song ...
