Yes, and you're not getting it. That's what you get for being a fool.

The 4:00 performance of this show was my first ever Bon Jovi concert. I was 12 years old and managed convinced my Mom (God bless her) that we had to camp out in front of the Count Basie theater to get tickets. By the time we showed up that night the line was already around the block. People were in lawn chairs and sleeping bags. By about 3:00 a.m. the line had gotten much much longer.

We ended up getting tickets in the front row of the loge section. This was without question, the best Bon Jovi concert I have ever seen (the set list above is incomplete). At the time of these shows, it had been widely reported that the band was probably going to break up. The band definitely performed like they had something to prove . . . and they proved it.

When the lights dimmed and the curtain came up, Jon was alone at the piano. I honestly couldn't hear his solo rendition of Never Say Die because the screams of the audience drowned it out. After Never Say Die, Richie came out and he and Jon launched into an amazing acoustic mini-set. At one point in the show, there was also a horn section. It was such a magical night. I still have my t-shirt from this event which I have barely worn because even at 12, I knew it was a keepsake I'd want to preserve for a long time.

I would love to get my hands on a recording of this performance.

COOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think if Bon Jovi or someone else collected depositions like this and put all into a book, I would have a BIG pleasure to read every single line...

I sincerely thank you for share this, and tomorrow I'll call my friend (who loves Bon Jovi as I) to read this...
