I believe it's from the Keep The Faith era, but only Jon and the band can give you a definate answer!

I agree, it's got the KTF feel to it. Maybe it was a demo that they wrote around KTF time but didn't get chance to record until 1994 due to the ammount of great songs they had at that time. 1994 was around the Crossroad time where they recorded Always, Saturday Night, GGDAWW and of course Prayer '94, etc.

Naw. The band write so many songs, they keep giving out wrong dates. The first date they said the song was from was Crush, and then it was KTF, and then shoddy labelling was blamed. I wish we had definite years for the tracks but it's impossible.

it shouldnt be impossible tho, surely the original recording (what is it, cd?) has date/session or whatever on it. can't believe they didn't

There's a pic in the booklet of the vault they have and they look to be all the master tracks. They didn;t look to be cds at all.

I always thought "Why aren't you dead" was from the Keep the Faith sessions. Good, good tune.

At one time, it was. The story goes, as time passed, they realized the labelling system sucks. It's not a good excuse for them to use, I agree, but some of their guesses as to when songs are from just seem way off.

that's for sure. Just my point being that is actually kinda sad...
Next to that a 100 million selling bank that doesn't have a good labelling system is actually kinda sadder...

(like a multinational company don't have a proper administration)
