Default Please don't forget Bounce!!!

I have a feeling Bounce is gonna end up like These Days...you'll go to countless shows and you'll be VERY lucky if you hear a song from that album!!! I'm so bummed about this!!

I felt that Bounce was their strongest album since Keep the Faith. These Days was too dark and depressing for me to get in to (I'm into Bon Jovi for the good times- I've got other bands/songwriters for the depressing tunes haha). Crush was an album full of filler. I felt with Bounce, finally, they had a good solid album all across the board. It all kind of flowed. I suppose HAND is similar in that respect but I still think Bounce is way more exciting of an album. Then again, I have very specific emotions and memories attached to Bounce.

I will be sooo bummed if I never hear The Distance again!!! To me that is one of their top songs, ever. So far there isn't any on HAND that matches it in my opinion. But we'll see...there's still time.

I will totally miss hearing Undivided and the Distance.

Sometimes I think their decisions just do not make sense - especially not chosing the Distance as a single- BIG MISTAKE. And they'll probably do it again with HAND- release dreck like "Welcome" and not something really excellent like "I Am."

Oh well, can't please everyone!! Regardless,I'll be at as many shows as I can go to. That's what the new album signifies to me- live shows are coming!!! I get into the album simply to familiarize with the new stuff I'll hear. But it's really all about the tour for me.

Forgive the length. I don't normally post. Actually, I don't frequent BJ message boards unless they're touring ha ha!!

I think we may hear Everyday, and possibly Bounce from time to time. On a very rare occasion, we may hear The Distance, but I wouldn't count on hearing much else off of it.

I think they'll still play Everyday and Misunderstood, dunno about other tracks though. Maybe The Distance aswell as it's kind of an anthem. I doubt sadly of all that Undivided will never see the light of day again, what with it being a 9/11 themed song and we're a bit too far down the line after that for the subject to be brought up again. (And I meant "sadly" becuase it's such a great live song btw)

I'm like you I thought Bounce was, although not one of their strongest, a very solid album with great hard heavy rock songs on it and better than Crush and I also have memories attached to that record when it was first released.

Though I think we'll see very little more of Bounce anymore as it wasn't a landmark album as such and generally wasn't their strongest album.

Aloha !

I'm glad they forgot it during the promo shows, and so far Everyday has been the only song they, or Jon, keeps thinking about. It was an audible at both promo gigs though. It just doesn't go down live very well, but they'll probably play it during the first 10 shows of the HAND tour.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Blech...they can officially retire "Everyday" - I always felt it was pretty blah live. "Undivided" was one of their best performances on tour, I thought.

I don't remember hearing "Misunderstood" much on tour. Maybe heard it once? I do remember hearing it a gazillion times in one day being at the video shoot!

I'd rather hear The Distance with the solo at the end

I'd rather they never-ever played ANY of those songs again but Right Side Of Wrong. What a crappy album that was...unbelivable. I think it's the WORST album any 80s Glam Rock band has ever recorded pre and post big hair eras.
