Default Don't they simplify too much???

I've just realised why Bon Jovi will never belong to the 'top or at least high class' area in music, although they perfectly can! why do I think so?

... reading the interview in the sleeve of TLFR it sticks out when Jon tells us a story of the title for this record.... I don't understand why not call it '"At the steps of Graceland"??? alas it is a very graceful record!!! why don't go for something intelligent and more difficult to understand??? aren't they ready yet or they truly choose not to appeal to those who opt for intelligence & style and not solely emotions!!! I honestly don't get it!?! does these title seem too pathetic for other members of the band! does it seem 'too much' to you BJ fans???
I love the record, and yes, "this left feel right" feels right, but I yearn for BJ to give me sth to be proud of and not 'sort of' ashamed at times!!!!
this record is a proof they can live up to this kind of a title for they record.. why the hell not give it a shot?!?!?!

Aloha !

This Left Feels Right actually is an intelligent title. I don't get your point.

Apart from the album being pretty sh*t, the title is rather intelligent.

Calling it "At The Steps Of Graceland" would have been sh*t, because what has Graceland ever had to with Bon Jovi? They've always been the boys from New Jersey, and that should be the way it always is.

Its better than Crush and Bounce - at least they've improved in the naming of albums over the past few years if not the style!

I knew that!!! so to some of you album is crap, only the title is right?!?

well, actually I value this album a lot, much more than all those recorded in recent years, namely since 'crush'... and for me it deserves good title, 'left feels right ' is the simplification of its contents! but yes, I agree it is also a good title!!! with TLFR BJ gave us sth more than just bouncing hits for nursery kids! finally they can be the mature part of grown up fans' adult life (those lovely Valentine candle lit dinners, not just spicy exercises in the back-seat!)...
... I believe as a band they shouldn't feel restricted to play for - excuse the expression - airheads all the time!

anyway, thx for sharing your thoughts!

Even if the title were crap - who cares about the title? It's about the MUSIC damnit. In this case (TLFR) I don't care for a lot of the music on the album but none of the titles mean a damn to me (except maybe New Jersey)

I'm with Katleen here. Who cares about the title? I care about the music on the album. Personally, I find TLFR to be a rather good title. It fits what the album is about.

Good for you.

But they are just the same songs with different arrangements! How does playing something with a bit of Rock 'n Roll character about it suggest immaturity - the lyrics are the same!

I'm sure they don't - and never have! So, in your opinion, you believe that all fans who prefer the likes of KTF to TLFR are "airheads" who should grow up because that music, BJ's rock history, is immature!?!
