Bob Rock produced Metallica's Black Album, Load, Reload and by St. Anger, when bassist Jason Newsted quit, Bob handled bass duties for a while in the studio (even playing a one off show if I'm not mistaken).

Why the hell they have two guitarists already, plus Jon perfectly available to play some basic rhythm on an acoustic and they use playback for keyboards?? David usually uses the keyboards to trigger the samples but those are not samples that's all keyboards parts.

Maybe it was added in postproduction and the amount of it is too much.

I've mentioned it in my comments about the album. I hate the artificial background vocals. It's too obvious they are pre-recorded.
I'm a bit suspicious about them in Lower The Flag and Luv Can and also somewhere I don't remember. Also Jon's list of the shootings sounds too similar to the record.

Not my intention to be negative. Those are just little things that bother me and spoil otherwise nice show/event.
I'd love to check out the parts with added keyboards, can you point me to what songs this happens during?

Lower the Flag's list of shootings is absolutely a live take. His inflection is a lot quieter here. The way he over-enunciates SEA-bring Florida is a giveaway.

There is a moment where I think Greg is playing guitar where it doesn't quite match what he's playing but I keep in mind this was probably a few multiple takes of video synced to one performance of audio.

jon said after Lower the Flag ''don't worry .....remember we did a rock record after all''
is this a joke or did he lose touch with reality?

More of the latter, I’m afraid... remember, he also thinks Captain Crash is a fan favorite and Lost Highway is the greatest song he’s ever written

Really depends on what he views a "rock song" as. If something not midtempo/ballady constitutes a rock song to him then 6/10 fit that profile. I include Blood in the Water because it fits the bill of a rock song regardless of tempo.

To us, absolutely no way is this a rock album.

Right?

To me, that performance was the first time in a good few years when Jon's vocal delivery managed to give me goosebumps.

I honestly think some people need to watch footage of the crowd more when Capt Crash is played. Everyone is waving their arms with the song etc., at Wembley it was one of the highlights for a lot of people around me. Just because the die hards don't like it, doesn't mean the casuals agree.

Luv can was good

I can't stand Shine and it's too similar to Ed Sheeran's Perfect

Phil X look bored as hell on both songs.

I can't understand call someone to fill up a keyboard position and he plays acoustic guitar on half of the songs having 2 professional guitar players in the band.
