Indeed.

Very considerate of them and also smart to emphasize it in the statement. There might be people throwing the "jOn iS onLY doInG it foR PR" line, but much like with charitable activities I have no problem with celebrities patting themselves on the back for doing something good.

I feel bad for people who wanted to see the show, because who knows if they'll ever be able to get Bryan Adams as an opener or anyone else of a similar calibre for the whole tour.

I don't think they can actually postpone these days as no one knows who and what's available next year. I'm wondering though, does Ticketmaster need to pay back the service fees over there? Here in Holland they're allowed to keep them even if an artist cancels.

A lot of artists have postponed (instead of cancelling), including Bryan Adams himself (his solo shows in London), Queen, Sam Fender. I'm sure there's many more, but I'm just naming the ones I was looking to see myself.

I mean I don't necessarily disagree but this fanbase is so snarky that we can't even have a minute of the band making the right call before throwing them down again. They're constantly set up to fail. Maybe I'm more hyper-sensitive about this stuff because of the state of the world but shit, who has time to live like that? I might just need a break.

And the fact the Tottenham stadium is currently serving as a base of North Middlesex Hospital, so it's not happening. I guess the plan is to rearrange but they need to figure out the football season for when the stadium is available or find another venue
