What do you mean? I don't hear anything out of the norm besides some bumpy vocals.

I'm not entirely sure what he means with "cupping" the mic, but as I understand it, it's not what I've seen in these videos, as the front of the mic is still "free" (as in not covered by his hands)?

I've just relaised that this was a month ago already! It only feels like a couple of weeks...

Kinda feels like we don't have anything to look forward to now...Hall Of Fame done, no details on anything new coming out from the band or any more tour dates, RSO is out and no news on any more dates for them either....

It might get very quiet around here....

I also think that within one or two weeks from now, this place will have pretty much fallen asleep.

Jon said in an interview just before this 2018 tour that he was gonna make a new album (For 2019) and tour again and including Europe in 2019.
I hope that actually happens.

So do I, but I seriously won't believe a tour in Europe until they really announce one. There had been rumours in 2017 where people working at stadiums in Germany actually confirmed that the band had blocked certain dates and Jon had said at some point that they were gonna go to Europe in 2018 which didn't come to fruition either.
I guess we won't know anything specific up until autumn at best, so the sommer month will be rather quiet around here.

If they come over in 2019 that would be 6 years since they last did UK (excluding the Palladium).
I think JBJ is leaving it this long to get some interest as they were over a lot prior to 2013.

New album? Not interested really. The last few have been sub-standard and unless Richie is back and hungry for the classic Jovi sound - then the new one wont offer much.

You think the last few albums have been sub-standard? Should have said!

I myself prioritize a European tour instead of the new album.
Haven't seen them since 2013.

Only if Richie comes back to co-write the new album (as well as joining the band on the next tour to promote it) I'd consider it.

But it's about damn time we see them in Europe again.
