I think that Jon sounds worst in the last month. His voice was better around February and march.

I went to look into my archive and found it's actually a matrix. So my guess is that they spotted the "ghost mic" frequency, recorded it and then added it to the matrix together with the audience recording and Jon's IEM.

Oh, and the show was actually Osaka 2008.

That sound right. Lay Your Hands On Me had the double time jam that in 2011, and when Richie left it was still there when Jon sang it and it disappeared around the same time the KTF jam started. I would assume the start of the WAN tour?

That Lay Your Hands On Me jam was introduced in 2011 when Richie had left the tour and stayed for a few shows after his return (Hyde Park was the last one I think).
In 2013, the jam was moved from LYHOM to the end of KTF since it basically was the same, just added to a different track.

Hmmm are you sure? I could swear it started when Richie was still there. Maybe as early as Feb or March of 2011? Phil didn't join until Jazzfest, April of that year.

Yeah you're right. I had only been thinking about the versions that Jon sang and he did it for the first time with the jam when Phil was on board. Richie had done it in early 2011 already.

Watched this show from behind the stage and from the first verse of "This House'' I knew it was gonna be a tough set for Jon, the voice was tired already but the confidence was there until he flubbed the words to ''Because We Can''. Which was when I think the snowball started. It was so clear Jon's mind was somewhere else during the whole set and totally overthinking his singing, maybe the most forced performance I've ever seen in any concert.

The professionalism cannot be overlooked with this band and the front man, he did everything he could, and he does that every night.

When he ended up screwing up two verses of ''Bad Medicine'' it looked like it was painful and Jon looked embarrassed. I've been onstage and forgot lyrics to songs I've sung hundreds of times and I know how hard it is to mentally come back from it sometimes, and I could tell Jon was pissed and deflated.

Coming back for the Encore I watched the backstage, as I found out later, the band was informed that they were cutting ''I'll Be There For You'' and ''Saturday Night''. Jon was clearly pissed before putting on the Smile and walking up the steps to start ''Make A Memory''.

If I am not mistaken Jon was the first to walk off the stage after a super quick bow after ''Prayer'' and I am not sure who he was looking at coming off stage but when he saw the person his face went totally pissed and deflated again and the fake smile was totally gone.

All in all, a great night of music with my favorite band in a great city, but a struggle mentally and physically for the lead singer.

Now this is a review, I just love Johnny to death like Alec said lol; tours can’t be all about money I still think JBJ loves to sing...

P.S. I hate when I have too much free time ‘cause I’m going to spam this board haha
