nice to see this.

i hope richie will release a solo album soon, have been listening to undiscovered soul lately and its a very good album. there many qualities in richies playin songwriting and singing and i d like to see him play as good

Yes it is. He played a custom-made Ovation doubleneck during the 80s and the 90s until Taylor made him is Koa-wood doubleneck in the late 90s / early 2000s.

I listened to it today and dammit it hit the spot. Harlem Rain, Who I Am , the title track. I remembered why I loved him as an artist and the band in general.

As far as the guitar goes, the Ovation brings back a nice nostalgia. Out of the two, I'd take the Taylor any day. The Taylor was the jackpot. But I'm glad he's being given a signature anything these days.
