Default Alice Cooper Live

So I'm seriously thinking about seeing one of the first rockstars I ever got into, Alice Cooper, live in November.

Just wondering, what's he like live? I watched AC Trashes The World and it rocked, but does he actually use screens? Because I don't wanna get their, find out I don't get to the front only to then find out I can't see a thing and there's not even a screen to help me out.

Um...and hey, that's my only question!

Also - WTF is it with my friends? I'm sure they all liked Alice Cooper, now that he's doing a tour they've all scattered away and left me to see him on my own. Stupid ****ers.

Aren't the venues too small to need screens?

He's alright live, worth seeing every now and then, but won't change your life.

The theatricality of it is fun, but perhaps dilutes the impact of it as a rock show. He doesn't talk too much to the audience and his band tends to sound like session musicians.

anyway, i know he was at the BIC here in bournemouth recently, with motorhead if i'm correct? not sure whether that venue is big enough for screens.

I'm going to see him. The arena I'm gonna be seeing him in though is very small so he may not do his theatric stuff, I know when my brother/cousin etc. went to see him a few years back he didn't do anything like that.

I've seen him live twice in Cardiff International Arena. Neither shows had big screens, thouhg other gigs I've been to there have.

He's awesome live and usually has great support acts.

2005 tour was Twisted Sister, and 2007 was Joan Jett & The Heartbreakers and Motorhead.

I've been told by my girlfriend in no uncertain terms that we'll be going to see him Not that I mind ... I've seen him twice before (once in 2002 and once in 2005), and both times were great shows

I saw Alice Cooper afew months ago... must've been October or something like that.... I can't remember the date... but anyway, he's pretty good live, nothing really phenomonal, but then again, I knew like 8 songs he played. It was kind of a small venue, about 3000 people.

But I do listen to his radio show thats on every night here at 9pm I think... the classic rock radio station here gives up an hour or two every day to play his radio show. He talks about his favorite bands and such, and plays really good, solid music... not like DJ's who have to have a certain amount of different songs, and have their playlist on shuffle and don't really have a say on things. He chooses the music we listen too.... I try to listen to it whenever it's on. He also answers fan mail of the radio as well.... It's really cool to see someone connect to their audience like that, every night.

No screens. Get as close as possible.

The band is great, it's no session band, it has been with Alice for years.

W.T.F?

If I get there only to find that Alice Cooper does not get locked in a straight-jacket and then his head sliced off, I will not be happy

Yeah I know, they were pretty disappointed.

When my brother seen him with Motorhead and Joan Jett... though, he did all of his theatrics...2007 it must have been.
