Bed of Roses 2007

Always 2006

A joke.

Jon's voice has ruined Bon Jovi. I take no pleasure in listening to any of their live songs anymore. They are finished. Their concerts must be boring. They are forced to sing mediocre (at best) versions of songs which were once amazing live. The last concert I went to was in Toronto, 2003. Not going to the Tokyo Dome. Can't be bothered anymore. Well done Jon. Arse.

I totally agree with you - all these versions are simply rubbish.

Aloha !

The fact that there wasn't a stunning vocal from Jon during the HAND tour says enough. Even the songs that were recording on HAND and performed for the first time ever on tour were often song with his out of breath nasal style he seems to be so fond of nowadays.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I agree that the new versions of the songs are fukin awful but im still pleased Jon gives In These Arms a gd shot and does the actual version!

id much rather have an edgy original version of Always and Bed Of Roses than the new versions!

It's not his voice... I watched the first 2 vids, BoG 06 and 07, and I think it's not the voice but the style, he is trying to sing it with a calm Jazzy and Country-ish edge to it, much like he did Bad Name on SNL years ago (they did Bad Name and IML that night). It seems to be modified to sound like it did on TLFR. I blame Who Says You Can't Go Home.

Besides, the quality of that vid is pure crap so you are not getting the best of him on this. I have 80's bootlegs that sound like this but I don't think it's Jon's voice.

those performances of blaze, especially the chorus sound like rejects from TLFR, jon just has no desire to hit any high or challenging notes at all, it sounds as though hes just going through the motions as i believe was the case with many of the songs on TLFR.
