Default Need help from Bob Dylan fans
Ok, here's the deal. We're gonna have a Bob Dylan cover gig, and I want a little help from fans of his about the setlist. Simply, just tell me what songs would you like to hear in a Dylan concert. The setlist should be short, about 10-12 songs. Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, the first two that come to mind are the oldies, The Times They are a Changin and Like a Rolling Stone.

I used to listen to lots of obscure Dylan songs but I doubt that a casual audience would know them at all.

To show that he's still relevant (which he undoubtedly is), you should drop in one or two from his recent albums. From his new one, I Feel A Change Comin' On and Beyond Here Lies Nothin' spring to mind. Or maybe one from Modern Times, Love & Theft, Time Out Of Mind?

As someone else said, Blowin' In The Wind. Love that song.

But also MASTERS OF WAR. Maybe I'm not qualified to say what his best songs are, because I'm a casual fan at best, but that song is pretty damn amazing.

Also...Knockin' On Heaven's Door? At least people will know that one...hopefully.
