Is there any live DVD/CD you would recommend?

Oli - My brother bought 'Rocks' the other day and I am just about to listen to it.
A Little South Of Sanity is a good live CD. It has a bit of everything. There are some overdubs here and there but overall it's a pretty good collection of songs and it does sound like what Aerosmith live sounds like. Rockin' The Joint is also pretty good, but a bit short. Aerosmith doesn't have any good live DVD's.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I kind of enjoyed the interview sections. The problem with my copy is that Joe Perrys guitar is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too low in the mix.
And its not a great performance anyway.

Btw, what about Live In Japan 2002? I've watched some performances on YouTube and have enjoyed them, but there is no coverart so it doesn't look official meaning I'm sort of sceptical about it.

A Little South of Sanity is definitely worth buying, if you are an Aerosmith fan of course
Also, if you want a DVD of Aerosmith, you are better off with bootlegs.

Aloha !

The best Aerosmith bootleg DVD is this one:

Aerosmith - Roar Of The Dragon Tour - December 31, 1999 / January 1, 2000
1. Eat the Rich
2. Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)
3. Same Old Song and Dance
4. Love in an Elevator"
5. Livin' on the Edge
6. Rag Doll
7. Dream On
8. Janie's Got a Gun
9. One Way Street
10. Pink
11. Let the Music Do the Talking
12. Stop Messin' Around
13. Mother Popcorn
14. Walk This Way
15. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
16. Cryin'
17. Dude (Looks Like A Lady)
18. Chip Away the Stone
19. Mama Kin
20. Train Kept A Rollin'
21. Auld Lang Syne
Encore:
22. Full Circle
23. Sweet Emotion / Heartbreaker

It's a rather good show from start to finish and includes One Way Street, Let The Music Do The Talking, Chip Away The Stone and Mama Kin.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Looks awesome, only downside is no 'Just Push Play'!

How could I get this?

Btw, any thoughts on Japan 02?

That's not a downside, that's a big plus. The song is awful, both on studio and especially live.

Send me a PM and we'll sort things out. Japan 2002 is also a good show, but that 1999 show is better. I'm not sure I have the 2002 show though.

You think Just Push Play is awful? I think it's pretty good, if I don't take it seriously of course. Just a fun song.

The PM will be sometime in the next few days
