Here in Australia they are pretty big, and they are apparently big in the UK.. but im no completely sure about worldwide...

Yes Mouse, you have to. Having been in the UK for nearly 3 weeks now, I think that while you wouldn't expect them to be as big as in Australia (their album finally reached #1 after 34 weeks), they get plenty of radio play over here and it's not hard to find their stuff in any music store anywhere. So they are doing ok, keep on rockin' boys!

They've had only 1 hit in Holland I think... but they are a well-known band.

And the best band in Australia must be Taxiride

They kick ass!! They are being played on the local radiostation non-stop it seems. I read an interview with them in Blender and am disappointed in their lack of maturity, but hey, as long as they keep making good music, I don't care.

i love jet, i have their album. one thing about it that niggles me is the song "are you gonna be my girl" (altho i love it) cos it always reminds me of another song ive heard somewhere. i always think i know that riff...
theyre reasonably big here (britain) and r on tour here now.

I'm not saying they're not any good, I was actually refering to the 'best band' claim, don't know about that one!
