Default New Audioslave album

Taken from wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audioslave

Revelations (2006—)
Brendan O'Brien, who has produced or mixed the albums of numerous major rock acts of the past twenty years, including Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen, is at the helm for their third record, provisionally titled Revelations. Audioslave have 20 songs written (a few of which were sampled during their 2005 tour) and returned to the studio in early January to finish recording them. This follow-up to Out of Exile is now 100% completed. The album is said to have a number of songs influenced by old-school R&B and Soul. In a recent interview, guitarist Tom Morello said that the album would feature 'funky grooves' that are similar to those of Led Zeppelin and Earth, Wind & Fire. He also mentioned songs under consideration for the album's final cut, including "Until We Fall"; "Moth," ; "Revelations"; "One and the Same"; "Sound of a Gun"; "Shape of Things to Come"; "Wide Awake", "Original Fire" and "Broken City," which he said "is kind of Audioslave-plays-[War's] 'Low Rider'. Revalations was recently pushed back to a September release; consequently this summer Audioslave will not now be touring Europe as first reported.

I'm excited about the prospect of another album.

Hope they can manage another appearing in Australia, after leaving us out of the last tour.

Bah, I'm annoyed at Audioslave at the moment .... cancelling their Reading and Leeds Festival appearances

And despite that, I'm listening to Soundgarden at the moment ... go figure

I'm pissed off with them, too! Next to Pearl Jam, I was looking forward to seeing them at Leeds the most.

They were also supposed to come to the Dutch Lowlands festival, but that one's also cancelled

Is it evil of me to hope that Chris fell off the wagon and is into drugs again and thus in no shape to perform anytime soon as he is hiding out in the woods once again writing another Superunknown (or whatever album it was that he wrote in the woods)?

I know truth is he is just too busy modeling and running that stupid restaurant *whails*

I AM glad I never got tickets for Leeds or Reading though ... (sorry Bluesman - you got that sleeping bag all for yourself again )

Bah, I'm not letting it put me off. Still plenty of acts to look forward to, as well as more space in my sleeping bag.
