By my calculations, that brings the band's total (certified) record sales in the US to 49.9 million. Ready to crack 50 million.

Your calculations fit in with Billboard's US album-only sales of 37.8 million -- that is, once we forced them to print a retraction!
Which gives us something to ponder: In the absence of record label support, could This House Is Not For Sale survive on digital sales alone?

I think so, yeah. It's not like they were selling millions of albums prior. They weren't even that close to going GOLD in the US. I think they'll make more money on a label-less model.

I'm surprised they didn't update SWW and CR certifications.

And the live album is still uncertified (sold more than 500k)
