For those of you who couldn't watch the Tonight Show, here's a run down of what happened. The guys played Misunderstood. Then Jon and Richie talked with Jay for a few minutes. He asked about the song and Jon said they could have called it The Doghouse Song. Jay asked Jon what he did to get in trouble at home and he said, "Show up" (or something to that effect... don't expect quotes here! LOL) He asked Richie how he got in trouble and he said that the night of the Grammys Heather was wearing a "pantsuity" type thing and he thought she looked like a sexy schoolteacher so he told her, "You look like a schoolteacher" and she wasn't happy. The whole time Richie was talking, he had this tuft of hair sticking up and bouncing around. It was very cute and funny. I was thinking ALFALFA!! LOL Jon said that to get out of trouble you spoke French, "Cartier."

Jay asked Jon if he was a strict father and Jon said, "How could I be?" and his if he told his kids he did something when he was young, they'd say, "No foolin', Dad." Jay asked what happened when he got in trouble and he said that after his dad smacked him, he'd pull out the blade and I think Jon realized how that came out and he quickly said, "He wasn't like a Soprano" and explained that he was a hairdress and their cruel and unusual punishment was getting all their hair cut off.

Jay asked about their kids ages and how they would feel if Jon's son wand Richie's daughter wanted to date. Jon replied with a "HA!" and Richie said that at least he (Jesse) came from good stock. Jon said that they'd be in the back seat watching the two of them in the front seat and that he was getting a package deal for all the daughters to go to the convent.

Jay asked if they were rebellious when they were young and Jon replied that he would think so, hence the profession they choose. Jay asked if they were going to be away from home at Christmas. They are not. Jon mentioned playing at the Superbowl, then going to Japan, the USA, Europe, and back to the USA.

Jon sounded awesome!! They played the song like the new version though, and I like the Bounce version better. Still, I love that song more than Everyday and was very happy to hear it live again.

I thought they looked sooooo good! All I have to say is that I would NEVER put Jon in the doghouse. And if I did, I would be in there with him!!! I was wondering if Howie Mandell really took all those people to Vegas!?! I bet there weren't any of the Bon Jovi fans on the bus!! At least I wouldn't have left

Actually he didn't say "Cartier", it was "Gaultier", as in Jean Paul Gaultier the French clothing designer.
