Is this a cover? I think I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas is Bon Jovi song and Please Come Home For Christmas isn't. Am I wrong?

No, it's a band song. It was released as a single under the bands' name back in 1995. I know some CD's a singles refer to Jon Bon Jovi when it comes to this song, but it is a band song and probable recorded during the Cross Road / These Days sessions. However, not every band member is present on the recording too, but I can't remember who is and who isn't.

Nope. It was a cover then as well. Don't know the original artist, but it wasn't the Eagles.

No, the Eagles cover is the most popular but the song was written by blues artist, Charles Brown.
