Default Michael Jackson - Xscape - What if it was Bon Jovi

Curious to know people's opinions on this album?

These are obvious leftovers from his vault. Do you think they did it right?

If this was a Bon Jovi project, what 8 songs from the box set would make your remixed album? And would you want it remixed?

There's little off the box set I'd change. Most of the songs that should be polished aren't really worth the time... but there a couple. I think the songs that have potential, descent vocal tracks, BUT could use a different arrangement, mixing, and production are as follows:

NOTHING
Open All Night
Maybe Someday
Postcards From the Wasteland
Standing
I don't Want To Live Forever
Stay
Wedding Day

I listened to Xscape earlier today I thought it was great, much better than Michael. Obviously, the songs are from different eras (much like Bon Jovi, MJ also had a different sound for each decade), but I was very pleased with some songs that you could tell were from 80s. The updated production I also thought was done very well, the songs sound modern, but in a good way. And to please everyone, the deluxe version even includes the original demos! So great thing overall, really makes me wonder why Michael even exists.

Regarding Jovi, such album can only work when Jon passes away. Once that happens, sure, take those outtakes and rework them to sound good in 2040s or whenever than happens. But until then, it should either be another boxset or original Jovi material, no matter how bad it is compared to those 80s-90s outtakes.

I think Xscape is great! Much better than Michael. I like how they included the original versions in the deluxe edition, although the new versions are far superior.
