Default Is it possible to download an entire website?

If the PC was powerful enough and there was enough storage space, is it possible to download an entire website in one go and store if offline?

Its probably silly but I'm thinking that, in the catastrophic event Jovitalk went down/offline for whatever reason, theres way too many useful threads on here for them to be lost forever. This community built up a hell a lot of information and discussion over the last decade (Setlists, info about rare releases, Sebs hoaxes ) and I'm wondering if there was a way to safeguard it all?

Yes, of course! There's free software called website rippers or grabbers or copiers that can duplicate whole websites and you can also find YT vids that explain how to do it. No special knowledge needed.

Well, yes, if you just wanted a clone of the basic loaded page, but by far the easiest and quickest way to backup a whole board is simply for the admin to backup the database... which I'd hope is being done anyway...

Try those for starters. Messageboards are a bitch to rip, though, as it needs usernames and passwords, and there's a ton of pages.

If you really want to save or backup a board, backing up the database is the best way to do it.
