No offense dude, but you're lyrics are just a little off. Let me help ya out. (By the way, I have no idea about the guitar stuff, cuz I can't play crap. So I won't criticize you on that.)

The first part "phone clock" is "alarm clock" and should be "hit that snooze button 'least 3 times"

"Travel" should be "Traffic."

"yeah" should be "hey"

First "na na na's" should be "Blue Eyes Crying

Then "clouds are breaking, the sun is shining through"

The second "na na na's" should be "grace of knowin' that you're gonna save me"

There ya go!!! Glad to clear things up for you.

Thanks for the corrections!

So it should be:
On any other day I'd be Blue Eyes Crying
then? What's Blue Eyes Crying? Frank Sinatra (again) ?

And I'm not sure I agree with you on the through/new I still think he sings new, though through sounds more correct hehe

Anyway, thanks again.
And the guitarplayes, the introriff, might be playes with a slide, but I guess you would have to use a diffrent guitartuning then, not sure which one though...

I believe "blue eyes crying" is a title of an old country song. I LOVE country, but I think this is an oldie that I've never heard. I heard of "blue eyes crying" also in a Gary Allen song titled "songs about rain"

Hey! Willie Nelson got a song called Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain
I'm playing my Wille record now, but I can't see how this fits in the Jovi song.
I love countrymusic too!

I thought Jon sang:

"I was blue, I was crying"?
