Default Some guy's Opinion on Best and Worst Hair Metal Band

It's the same guy who did the 25 Best of "the best" Album. Which, imo, is a bad list.

He also did a list for Hair Metal Bands! And I think it's worse.

Bon Jovi, in his opinion, is #17 of 25 Best. He has this to say about Jovi:

17) Bon Jovi: There will be those who argue that these boys from New Jersey should be higher on this list. And if these boys didn't embrace every cliché as if they'd discovered a brand new idea, they might have moved up a few notches. But there's no shame in coming in just below the legal limit. And "You Give Love A Bad Name" makes up for "Bad Medicine" and "Wanted Dead Or Alive" and kept them off the "Worst" list for good. I'm originally from New Jersey. We have no cowboys. We do have Bruce Springsteen. I understand your confusion.

So is he saying he prefers YGLABN over Wanted?

I didn't know Ozzie is hair metal. Nor Aerosmith and GNR.

It's amazing. He gets paid to do lists like these!

You can see bands from different genres because "Hair Metal" is a trend and fashion. I think you're confused with the term "Glam Metal".

The writer appears at first glance to be a douche. Way too earnest, no sense of fun.

You really have to be a bit of a dick to write a 'worst 25 bands' list of any genre. Clearly he has nothing better to do than to sit around and slag off people way more talented than himself.

To think that people get paid for this shit.

Guns n' Roses is a hair band because they have long hair? Wouldn't that make Hanson a hair band as well?

Skid Row? Please. I don't like Sebastian Bach, but to call them one of the worst bands goes to show complete ignorance.

Just another failed writer looking for attention.

Hair Metal is a fashion, not a music genre.

You again? Here's a bit of advice - shut the hell up.

You and you're ****in genres, get over it all already.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

what's so lame about that list? if you look back at the magazines of the days you'd see that ozzy, van halen, aerosmith, jovi and guns n' roses were all thrown together into the same basket, and yes, even Ozzy was termed hair metal. Today, the lines are clearer I assume, however, if he had called his top Best/Worst melodic hard rock acts of the 80s, it would be pretty good. Besides, it's clearly a top 50 rather than a best 25 and a worst 25. I doubt the guy knew many more bands than that anyhow.
