Default 27th March 2017 - Xcel Energy Center, St Paul Thread

Bon Jovi are in Minnesota tonight for the 2nd of 2 back to back concerts. Technically they last played Minnesota in September 2016 where they played Who Says, THINFS, Knockout and Bad Medicine, although the last gig in St Paul at the Xcel was on the BWC tour in April 2013 (They'd managed 2 nights here on the Circle tour).

2017 Setlist:

01. This House Is Not For Sale
02. Knockout
03. Bad Name
04. Lost Highway
05. Whole Lot Of Leaving
06. Roller Coaster
07. We Weren't Born To Follow
08. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
09. We Got It Goin' On
10. Who Says You Can't Go Home
11. It's My Life
12. We Don't Run
13. God Bless This Mess
14. Scars On This Guitar
15. New Year's Day
16. Lay Your Hands On Me
17. Have a Nice Day
18. Born to Be My Baby
19. Bad Medicine
20. Keep the Faith

21. Blood on Blood
22. Wanted Dead or Alive
23. Livin' On A Prayer

The 2013 setlist was:

You Give Love a Bad Name
Raise Your Hands
Runaway
Lost Highway
Because We Can
That's What the Water Made Me
It's My Life
Superman Tonight
What About Now
We Got It Goin' On
Keep the Faith
(You Want to) Make a Memory
Bed of Roses
I'll Be There for You
We Weren't Born to Follow
Who Says You Can't Go Home
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Start Me Up
Bad Medicine

Encore:
When We Were Beautiful
Wanted Dead or Alive
Blood on Blood
Livin' on a Prayer

Encore 2:
I Love This Town
Always

One of those weird ones early in the tour with Bad Name opening, which didn't work at all until they finally put Water in it's place (in fact, 2 songs after this Water would be the opening song and stay there)

Tonight's Support: Step Rockets

Strap yourselves in for another copy and paste setlist on another uninspired (Setlist-wise at least) US tour. Fingers crossed, yet again, for something to be added to the set- especially Born Again Tomorrow FFS Jon.

Everyone going, have a great time.

Just my opinion but it just seemed weird jumping into the song, especially as it had been no. 2 for so long. Something seemed missing. I recall the first few bwc shows lacking a bit of flow.

I see. I think that it is weird because we are so used to it being the second or third song for a long time, but for 95% of the crowd I think it's a great start.

It makes no sense why they skipped Milwaukee. They could have came here from Chicago, then onto Minneapolis, or at least Madison. Oh well.

I had tickets for this show, but then I moved to Washington DC for a job. First Minnesota show I've missed in a really, really long time. I thought about heading up to the MSG for one of those shows, but with the setlists and the cost I couldn't justify it. Hopefully they play near me on the summer leg, if there is one. Hope Minnesota gets a good one tonight, we have definitely gotten many great shows over the years.

Friends Bill and Holly are going. Bill's favorite song is Saturday Night. I hope he gets it.

Today is the release date anniversary of 7800 Fahrenheit... what are the chances of something off that album getting played?
