Default The Official Elton John Thread
I've only just very recently rediscovered my love of Elton John. What an unbelievable body work he and Bernie have created. And the man can still put on an incredible show. At 62 his voice is still as strong as ever.

My favourite Elton song is Sacrafice. Have a look at this solo version. Stunning!

Elton pretty great. He's not someone I listen to intentionally but he does have an excellent bunch of tunes.

I went through an Elton John phase at the beginning of the year, constantly listening to my mum's copy of his double-disc Greatest Hits.

elton is a true great. the body of work he and bernie have compiled is nothin short of remarkable and his voice remains incredible. i particularly love the 'songs from the west coast' record. i do intend to see him live at some point.

I ****ing love that song. I got my first real kiss while listening to that song.... My itunes was on shuffle and that song came on....

Honest, a true story. Just like what happened in the lion king. You learn something knew everyday.

I love Elton John. But i disagree about his voice still being strong. Everyone bitches on here about Jovi tuning down, Elton does it even more!

But like others have said, he has an amazing body of work. And unlike some others who have been going that long, his newer albums are still genuinly brilliant, they just kinda slip under the radar.
