Beg me.

It does have that folky vibe of Paradise Valley. One of the, fortunately, very few leftovers of that sound for a new album.

Its quite weird how I loved when Jovi went country (LH album still one of my favorites), but hated when Mayer did it.

Never really paid attention to John Mayer in the past but recently heard “Last Train Home” from his most recent album Sob Rock (2021) and really liking it. Very 80s sounding and for some reason I’m getting Springsteen/Tunnel of Love vibes from it. There is also a ballad version of the song which is also great. Not to mention he is an amazing guitar player.
