Living in sin, didn't think this sounded that bad..

It is a mystery to me why some relatively easy to sing songs seem a massive struggle?

For the European tour I would favour a 3 song acoustic section (much like 96), this would give Jon a chance to rest vocally to a degree, I'd also let David sing In These Arms and maybe a cover from Phil too, again just giving Jon a chance to rest vocally.

But it just comes too late. If Jon and the band did this in the late 90s or even between 2009-2011 it would have been an awesome ride. But nowadays there's no coin in the jukebox left (to use Jon's words *g*).

It's the same with their MTV Unplugged or the induction into the HoF. A couple of years earlier and both events would have been great.

I agree with all this. But I totally do not understand why it has to be that way, i.e. why there had to be such decay. I mean, the BJ story is unique in terms of unreasonable premature decay in quality, authenticity, passion and musicianship. It is a poor thing.

he is just a shadow of his former self(physically/vocally,musically,artistically etc...)

Even on this song, Jon is struggling really hard - at times he even has to jump to release his muscle tension...

There is no way he should be fighting that hard singing this song, he is ****ed vocally and being carried by the the band (Bon Jovi), on his own he is exposed more.

Wouldn't surprise me if this final leg is just that.. final.

Nah, no chance.

It's these shows that will make him carry on, in all honesty. People screaming at any note he hits or any song that gets played. For thousands of pounds...

If they weren't in the studio right now, I'd probably agree. Jon is milking every single pound he can until he literally has no voice left.

I watched the Palladium show yesterday and people say his voice has deteriorated since 2013. It's deteriorated BAD since 2016! He wasn't vocally strong in 2016 but he was a lot more enjoyable to listen too. Now, I find him awkward to watch and painful to listen too.

He's jumping up and down for Joey, FFS. Joey!!!

Random Person: Why do you jump on Joey?
Jon: I really like the song and I thought it would be the new Prayer or Raise Your Hands.

Jon had Richie for years to give him a break, till he decided not to let him sing anymore except the last show, even though he promised in an interview before the 2013 tour Richie would sing some songs.
