LOL the whole thing was kinda hilarious ... I must be in a special mood either that sort of interview annoys me or makes me laugh hysterically ... I was counting the 'you know' from richie and the roadie guy (I think sandler is his name)

It is amusing. I like how No Apologies and The More Things Change were written in Richie's bathroom. That explains things, I think (at least for the former).

I think though it is true ... the subway hallways are good on acoustics so musicians play there ... the same way for bathrooms maybe it's because it's a closed room with tiles everywhere
