No, it's not true.

Jon wrote and recorded the Song Mr. Bigtime for the movie and Jon also wrote Save the world for the movie but the movie makers took the song of Aerosmith.

Bon Jovi never were involved in the movie. It was just Jon.

Jon never even presented them with Save the World because of his friendship with Steven Tyler.

For me "I don't wanna miss a thing" is far, a mile better than Save the World.....one of the worst songs on crush......they chose right....

Save the world would have been a great song for that movie. It's so catching. It realy gets to me. But I don't wanna miss a thing to so it didn't matter what they choose...

i have read that jon wrote the song save the world for the movie but when aerosmith gave their song, too, he decided to withdraw the song out of respect for aerosmith. i guess it's another way of saying 'they chose aerosmith's song instead of mine'. :P

Didn't he withdraw it because Aerosmith already had written a ballad?
