Mr Burns: Why, Bart's right here.
Bart: Hello Mother. Hello Father. I missed you during my uneventful abscence.
Homer: Oh Lisa, you and your stories: Bart is a vampire, beer kills brain cells. Now let's go back to that...building...thingy....where our beds and tv...is
Lisa: Uh, Dad, that's his crotch.

I like the one where Homer sells his soul for a donut and Flanders ends up being the Devil. The jury of the damned is awesome - the starting lineup of the 1976 Philadelphia Flyers
I enjoy watching older episodes now and actually getting the jokes I missed as a kid. As a kid, I was just excited that they mentioned hockey players on the Simpsons. Now, I understand it's because of the whole "Broad Street bullies" ideas.

I am another who thinks that it is still pretty good nowadays. Fair enough, nothing compared to series 3-11 but it's till funny and a great show. I buy every boxset on DVD and am anxiously awaiting Season 12 being released.

Some of my fabe episodes:

The Hank Scorpio one

The one where Bart and Ralph are pals and the one where Lisa dates Ralph

The road trip one with Bart, Nelson, Millhouse and Martin is great too.

Fave "one off character" would be a toss up between Ralph and Mr Burns with an honourable mention for Grampa and Willie.

Best Episode is obviously Lisa On Ice.

To call one favourite moment is an impossible task, but my favourite at this very second is when Lisa and Nelson are dating, they kiss and the other bullies catch Nelson with Lisa

"Nelson's kissing a girl! Dude that's so gay."

I'd put Ralph as my 2nd favourite minor character, with my absolute favourite being Hans Moleman. You won't even know who I mean unless you're a pretty big fan, as he's only ever had a couple of dozen lines throughout the entire history of the show - but he can usually be found on the brink of death, usually in strange situations.
