My god, Jon was a dreadful actor.

LMAO, this is like a cross between Sonny Crockett and an Italian stereotype from Family Guy. Jesus, is he that bad in all the stuff he did?

He's as good of an actor on film as he is on stage.

Hahahaha. I forgot what a terrible movie that was. ****ing mental that he would waste his time acting in movies like that. Of course, there was also Pucked.

This isn't about the band directly but The Black Keys break down ticket bundling and relevance. It's a great watch.

These are the types of album reviews Jon could have done. Imagine putting out one of these a month? I'd pay to join the experience if he did a 30-minute track by track review of each album and shared his thoughts about, and memories of, each album.

Thanks for the link. I absolutely love this guy! These are the kind of reviews I enjoy the most. This guy’s really got a lot of wits and insight. He’s obviously done his homework, too. You can love the band and yet still remain critical at the same time.

I just finished watching his HAND review. He really loves the album, there’s no doubt about that.

Watching the review made me think of HAND again. I couldn’t agree more on the obvious fact that particularly in this case, many of the greatest tracks never made the final cut. Why not put both I Am and Nothing on the album, even if they somewhat sound alike? And Dirty Little Secret should have been a standard album track, not a bonus song. And now that I listen to it, I think These Open Arms is a predecessor of Luv Can.

Pardon me for posting Philly 2011 again for the zillionth time, but it's just kick-ass:

https://youtu.be/gTYFtDHPKQw

Jon's 49th birthday had him and the whole band on such fire, it was incredible. The setlist wasn't overly impressive for the standards of that era (as even though it still had quite a few fan favorites, there were no real rarities), but the vocals, energy, passion and overall atmosphere were absolutely great - songs like KTF, Saturday Night and Blood On Blood were superb I'd actually say this might even be my personal favorite post-2k BJ gig

. Giving a listen now.....
Bit generous with some scores. How anyone could think bounce is a 10/10 album is beyond me.
Enjoyable reviews. Watched from These Days to Burning Bridges.
