I've been meaning to ask... is Dave's album all piano? Or are there vocals to? (I know about ITA) No offense to Dave's talents, but I don't think I could listen to an album of just...piano(and thouroughly enjoy it).

I prefer the version of ITA when he isn't singing, to be honest!

Yes, his music is all piano (well, not 100% piano, but no other vocals). I think his music is quite beautiful. I don't like like April which is way too repetitive, but there are some gems too. My favorites are Room Full of Blues, Lullaby for Two Moons, and Netherworld Waltz.

I do too Becky - I think his vocals on that song are harsh. I much prefer Jon's vocals. But the piano music is great and I listen to both of his albums.

I agree with you both. I actually like David's voice just not on ITA. I do like LOVE his records though.

Piano-dominated instrumental album apart from In These Arms. I got Lunar Eclipse imported along with Richie's albums. It's very good but I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea... I have a piano background though so I really love it. I like Dave's voice too; TBH I prefer this version of ITA.

I prefer Bon Jovi's version of ITA.

As far as I'm concerned, this is Bon Jovi's Stairway To Heaven.

I prefer Jon singing it, but his album is very soothing when you're stressed out and wanting to punch someone.

Maybe that makes a difference. I listen to Dave's records and dream about being able to play like he can.

"Harsh" is a good word to describe his vocals, Kathleen.
