Default Bj Song Worthy Of Album Place !!!!!

"Listen to yourself not what other people say"-this is a line from WTWYA,somehow I feel it's been a rule in Jon's decisions since SWW,and quess what, band never made another sale worthy of 25+ millions copies worldwide...why?well,because he didn't listen to the fans opinion first and than make his decisions!...I sincerely hope that someone from BJ management will evalute our opinion of these new demo songs from LH.

So, this is a poll about songs that should have been on or off an album, just pick one and say on or off! Enjoy!

- I love this town (Lost Highways)

- Make a memory (Lost Highways)

- Edge of a broken heart (SWW)

- It's hard letting you go (TD)

- Diamond Ring (TD)

- Prostitute (TD)

- Blame it on a love of rock n roll (KTF)

- Women in love (KTF)

- Radio saved my life tonight (KTF)

- Captain crash and the beauty queen from mars (Crush)

- Say it isn't so (Crush)

- Mystery train (Crush)

- I got the girl (Crush)

- Neurotica (Crush)

- Joey (Bounce)

- Open all night (Bounce)

- You had me from hello (Bounce)

- Lucky (Bounce)

- Postcards from wasteland (Bounce)

- No regrets (Bounce)

- Wildflower (HAND)

- Bells of Freedom (HAND)

- Nothing (HAND)

- Dirty little secret (HAND)

- These open arms (HAND)

yeah.

And anyway, why bother with the big list? Apart from odd choices in places, it would be easier to just ask people what songs they think should be on or off an album, rather than pick from your list..

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I find it amusing when I see threads like this, complaining about the bands choice in album tracks, single releases etc They must be doing something right, they've sold over 100 million albums. We are less objective than the casual fan because we've heard a lot of the demo's, the songs that didn't make it, and some are liked more than the album tracks. You try playing the albums and the demo songs to a more casual fan, and more likely than not they'll much prefer the hits like Livin' On A Prayer, Always, It's My Life etc

It's easy enough to say which songs you like more than others, your own personal preference, but when people say what they think would sell better it becomes pointless, as there is no real way to judge that.

All I'll say on the subject is that his judgement on the songs must be better than ours - I prefer certain demos to tracks that made albums, but I'm not a multi-millionaire international rockstar.

The most mind numbingly awful statement I've heard in a while. Jon should NOT listen to the fans when it comes to this sort of stuff. We don't know what we want, and we're already fans.
