Yup, I saw it the day it came out. I'm a big fan of the books, so I didn't know what to expect .... I really wanted to see it, but I was pretty positive I'd be disappointed. But I thought it was really good!

Plus, I'm obsessed with the song Let Me Sign from the soundtrack

It was nowhere near as good as the first book, but it was always going to be difficult as Twilight really is about the relationship between the two of them, and it's difficult to put that across in a film without it being utterly boring.

New Moon should be better - a bit more action in the book. Be interesting to see how they do the Werewolves.

My mum read the books, and she didn't like the movie as much. The same with my sister. I'm kinda glad I didn't ever read them, maybe that's why I thought the movie was so good. Seems like the people who hadn't read them enjoyed it more.

I read the series and loved the books. The movie was pretty good. It seems they tried to jam a lot into two hours, so it was a bit disjointed.

I don't have high hopes for New Moon though. Seems they want to rush it out and cash in, so the person who produced Twilight would not sign on to do New Moon due to this. If it is a rush job, I can't see it turning out well.

Yeah, Jade, but then you're missing out on some pretty decent books - I've only read the first two so far - but you know when you start reading a book and just can't put it down? Each one was done in one session.

Books are ALWAYS better than movies anyway.

I deliberately wanted to read at least two of the books first anyway - otherwise you get the film depiction of the characters stuck in your head, rather than what your imagination conjures up.

Yeah, I will most probably get around to reading the books eventually. But as you say, I'm gonna have the images in my head from the film. Not that that's a bad thing, tehe. I do like that you can let your imagination run away more with books though.

You have to read the last two! Awesome. The final one was great, but I hated the fact it was over.
