Blabbermouth.net compiled this list of the top touring hard rock acts of 2017 (based on this Pollstar list, where Bon Jovi is #30):

That's just specific to the Hard Rock Acts. They are actually #30... Which is not bad considering how short the tour was...

This shows how expensive their tickets really are.

As a like for like comparison Nickelback and Green Day outsold Jovi but charged considerably less for their tickets. Foreigner had almost as many fans turn up as Jovi but took $20m less at the box office

And those acts still have singers who are able to sing in key.

Economics 101 would translate that into a higher demand for Bon Jovi then those other acts... which is a positive!

Supply and demand. The Eagles are playing the same venue where Bon Jovi played in Birmingham and BAD seats were over $300. Needless to say, I won’t be seeing them.
