Had one listen and I'm not all that fussed. Mind might change after a few more. I liked their first 2 albums so I can't just dismiss this one after one listen.

Just got this today. Liked the first few songs, the rest need a bit more time. Nowhere near as endearing as their first 2 albums, and I really liked the "One Way Ticket" stupidly underrated, and I preferred it to the 1st album.

Got it a few days ago. I think it's great, a lot better than the bloated and self indulgent 2nd album. They sure know how to write a catchy song.

I received my copy today. Think it has some fine tunes on it that hit you from the start and some tunes that need some more listens. Got the digipack so got some bonustracks which aren't that special, though still a nice listen.

I salute you,
TS

"Open Fire" reminds me a lot of "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult. Justin is completely unrecognisable, especially his voice. Far less falsetto in this one.

I didn't pay much attention to their last album but I'll definitely give this one a listen.

Yep, it's definitely similar.

Hot Cakes was really good, full of melody and hooks. On first listen this album is more bombastic and theatrical. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet though

Just finished the new record it for the first time having never listened to this band before - great first impression! Sounded a bit outdated in a couple of songs, but fun overall. Wheels Of The Machine is my early favorite! Looking forward to listening to it again tomorrow

They were pretty huge in the UK for a few years. Their sound is very 80's hard rock influenced.

If you like the new album you'll love their debut which is an absolute classic in my eyes. Kinda reminds me of SWW, in that's it's fun but also really rocking and melodic.
