Default Bryan Adams - Earls Court, London

13/5/05

Maybe Kev can help me out with the setlist

First of all I cant review this concert without mentioning Keith Urban, there was almost as much excitement from the crowd for him than there was for Bryan. Gotta say he does know how to work a crowd and the live versions of his songs are much rockier than the few songs I have heard. I enjoyed his set even if all his songs wernt my cup of tea, I think he will be a success over here though judging by the reaction he got.

Then on came the main guy, this was the third time i've seen him in under a year and I wouldnt even call myself a massive fan of his!! Opened with Room Service, which does sound pretty good live I have to say. He played a couple of songs I havnt heard live before being, One night love affair(one of my faves of the night!), This time (always loved this one so enjoyed hearing it)

Basically what you see is what you get with Bryan Adams, if you can listen to his greatest hits CDs all the way through id recommend going to see him. You wont get any big elaberate stage shows but every concert is consistantly good. I didnt realise just how much Keith Scott contributes to the whole Bryan Adams act until I saw him live. He was right in front of us for most of the night and he really seemed to put everything into playing.

Highlights: One night love affair, Heaven, 69, All for love, Guitar solo in Its only Love.

Lowlight: ended with Acoustic version of Room service

Notes:
Full rock version of '69 again. This hasn't been done for a while, he's been playing some crappy acoustic/electric version which is absolutely crap compared to the full electric version

The Way You Make Me Feel (a song he wrote and gave away to Ronan Keating) hasn't been performed for almost 3 years now.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

The setlist finally has become bigger than the regular 19 songs he's been playing for the last 2 small tours. Since Japan it has become this big, but you're right, it was a bit longer this night.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Awesome show as Carli said! Fantastic. Keith Urban shocked me just how much he rocked. I dont remember ever seeing a support act get such an amazing reception. Here are the best pics from my selection.
