What I think we will get is Jon, Richie, Tico, Dave, Hugh, Phil, Shanks, Everett. And that's not my cup of tea.
As long as I bring Richie, I don't care how many musicians are on stage. As if Bobby is back.

But let's put it on the ground, and let's imagine that Richie's return doesn't happen. Maybe this guy misunderstood Tico, and he was referring to the documentary, not the tour.

Everett's role is to vocally put less pressure on Dave as the 2nd-in-line vocalist I think.

Though having all those people and STILL using pre-taped backing vocals would be a damn shame.

Agreed with Rolo though, with Richie there I don't care who else is present. I know what I prefer but this would get me to want to see them again for the last time.

But when was it just the 5 of them last? Early 2000s? It's been 20+ years, they need the extra musicians now. They are in their 60s and cannot pull it off without some extra people on stage to flesh out the sound.

Jerry the jelly has now said it’s not true.

He should stick to whacking off over the backstreet boys

On the Bounce tour. Afterwards only on occasion, but not regularly anymore.

Pretty much. I think the only "shows" betwteen the Bounce tour and the HAND tour were both Bortaga shows (This Left Feels Right and the Box Set). Am I forgetting any dates where it was just the five, minus a smattering of promo gigs where sometimes Bobby was there, sometimes he wasn't? I don't recall if Jeff was a part of the box set promo other than the Borgata either (Today show, etc)

Not to bring a downer on the excitement caused by this but surely this means sweet FA if the lead singer still cant sing? I see the title of that other thread "Has Jon had vocal surgery?" I bloody hope so! Why not! Cant get any worse than what was on stage last tour. Painful and depressing as a fan.

Am I the only one having a hard time getting excited about Richie (perhaps) returning knowing the state of Jon’s vocals. I couldn’t enjoy a single second of the April tour, and it’s only because everything Jon touches nowadays becomes horrible. Even though Richie has strong backing vocals nothing can save Jon’s disaster. In some way I prefer Richie to never have been a part of the Bon Jovi where the lead singer is an internet joke because of his voice.

Obviously I get the nostalgic part of Richie rejoining and getting the chemistry of Jon and Richie back. But no matter what they do their live shows is long lost sadly imo.ä

Agreed with the above. For me it'd just be to kiss it goodbye. I can't stomach paying that much to see Jon like this but if it's the last time I see J+R together I'm down. My expectations are rock bottom either way so I may have an okay time.
