Excellent! Nice to know that Jon is writing again, and with Billy Falcon. I wonder if this is for a Bon Jovi or a Jon Bon Jovi solo project.

Or it could be for some other artist.

Hopefully we'll get some Jon Solo. Although, if they are just starting the writing process now, it could be the next Bon Jovi album. It all depends on how long they want this break to be and especially if they are taking their time getting it right.

With no disrespect to Billy, using him as a writer is already heading in the wrong direction for me. We want change!!! Jon should work with writers who are more youthful. Someone in their late 30's / early 40's who are mature enough to keep in real but still know what's going on in the current scene. Billy is a great writer and I do like some of the songs that they collaborate on but I just want some change and diversity.

I respectfully disagree. Working with too much youth is the problem. Give me seasoned vets who know how to write a song over people they think are hip and will get them on the charts. I almost want them to show their age and show a little substance. Too much fluff lately.

They should focus on writing more songs on their own again. And they need to take some time to develop good songs. There is no need for them to write new songs if they have nothing to say.

They really should go back to the demoing process that they have lacked since John Shanks started working with them. It's almost as if the songs never reach their true potential anymore, and I think most of it has to do with not taking enough time developing the songs, and the demos were a huge part ot that....

I almost want them to write with guys like Chris Daughtry and Johnny Reznick, just for the sake of something diferent....

Agreed. Spend more time shaping the album and seeing what sticks. Granted then everyone will bitch about how the wrong songs made the album, but that's par for the course.
