I've been reading around and found someone talking about the song and how it's just "about a tough guy realising his girl is his most important thing".

That got me thinking, because I've always thought the lyrics were a pretty obvious metaphor for substance abuse (similiarly to Alice Cooper's "Poison"), but now I'm afraid I might have thought too much into it for years. Lol.

What do you guys reckon?
