Default Starland Ballroom 2009 Audio

Hi guys,

Can anyone advise, was the 2009 Starland ballroom show released as a CD for sale? I can find CD cover for it but on Discogs it's like £100 which doesn't seem right.

Can't find it online to download either!

Thanks

100 sounds right, it was released through the fanclub so it's very rare.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Salaam Aleikum,

Sebastiaan
Year I think I it was down to the first hundred fans who had been there and ordered one. Still like listening to that one since it was the one JBJ solo show with a remotely interesting setlist.

Just for comparison - shortly after that concert happened people were offering over $1000.00 for a copy of the concert on ebay. And no - I don't have my decimals wrong. My husband and I recorded that show and we were offered all sorts of money for a copy. The fanclub literally bootlegged their own stuff and those of us at the show were able to have a copy of the soundboard show. It isn't worth as much now 11 years later.

Did the Soundboard audio never make its way onto YouTube?

Default Starland Ballroom 2009 Audio

Coincidentally enough, I stumbled across an incomplete fan recording of what I believe is the first night of these shows on my hard drive which I never knew I had. Couldn’t believe they played two songs from The Power Station Sessions and (despite the poor quality) sounded rather good and fit in quite nicely with the rest of the set. Not to mention the story behind Jon not wanting any recordings from TPS to be released.

No idea where I got it from. Probably that old “Crush Magazine” site.
