Yet the website still has it as coming out in May. Why are they being so slow to make things official like the cancelling of the tour!

Well, because that's what the official Bon Jovi machine has always been, especially digitally: one step behind

Well, if you go to the official website, you can still buy tickets for the shows. So it is possible that the strategy of Jon and the company, is to release the album before canceling the tour, so the sales of CDs of these shows would add up to position themselves on the billboard. Amazon and iTunes release date May 15. is still maintained.

Once the album has been released, they only have to cancel the tour a week after release. If this happens, my question is .... when a person gets their money back for cancellation or because they can't finally go to the show by posponed ... if after receiving that physical copy of the cd, would they have to return it?

They'd be well in to smash their "biggest drop from a #1" record they had with THINFS

Legally/technically they probably would have to return them, but realistically it probably wouldn't happen. Unless they could deduct the cost of a CD from the refund.

I don't know if someone bought tickets on the THINFS Tour in the US and had to ask for a refund of the ticket after having had the physical copy of the CD. I do not know how it works, but if it is finally counted anyway, I could see why the release of the CD and the tour have not been officially canceled yet.

They may still be doing the numbers and see the impact it could have. Or maybe they are waiting every week to see how things are going.
