Hmm, but I thought those two beeps at around 0:25 are the watermark?

That double sound at 0:23 sounds more like fret noises from the guitar. You can hear it on the released version as well so it wouldn't make sense for it to be the watermark.

No it's not live it's a studio acoustic. As far as I know it was only ever officially released on a bonus disc for the Have A Nice Day album that came with the Target version. It also had a live version of have a nice day. I have it.

I don't think we're correct with calling those pre-released HAND songs as "a demos". Those are complete songs, guys!! With additional instruments, overdubs, cuts, FX and stuff... Let's call them pre/un-released versions, but not "demos"!!

That's a very good point... They are a lot further along than demos.... I don't think they are mastered for release either though... There is probably a step prior where the songs go out to the record company for adjustments... They then get tweaked and mastered...

They are probably rough mixes of early recordings, that never got to the mastering stage. The record company wouldn't get the final album handed over for production until the masters have been approved. The label themselves wouldn't have tweaked or mastered anything.

So that bootleg didn't get it from a random place and it was officially released
Never knew that!

Hmm, they don't sound rough to me at all. If anything, it's the finished mixes (because they sound exactly like the finished product for the most part), without final mastering at most. And probably some noise/artifacts added to make it "worthless"...
