Default Plant, solo

Any Robert Plant fans out there? I've been listening to his solo album from a couple of year ago, Dreamland, and I never realised how good it was. Got myself his double disc greatest hits, Sixty Six To Timbuktu which is just brilliant IMO. I think Plant has had one of the most successful career changes from band to solo artists. Considering he was part of one of the biggest bands in the world. You would imagine his music wouldn't be able to match Led Zep but as it's a different sound it really hit the spot.

What do you think?

As a big Zeppelin fan I wasn't sure st first about his solo career being successful. I do think he has proven that he has a diferent style all his own. I have seen him as a solo act several times and all have been very enjoyable. Unfortunately, at least here in America, the audience keeps screaming for Zeppelin songs.

I saw him play last year I think it was, and I can honestly say that it was the best gig I've ever been to! I love his solo stuff, although I do prefer Fate of Nations to Dreamland, as good as that album is. Hopefully he'll be coming out with some new stuff soon.
