Default Next Single for UK

What should be the next single to be released in the UK. HAND sank like a lead weight after its first week and WTWYA was also a flop. What would you choose as the next single?

Wink

Basically anything except' Who Says'!
Ideally 'Story of My Life', because I think it might actually get some decent airplay unlike previous releases.

Nothing considering that UK market has run mad, and no.1 musicans are trashers like James Blunt, etc... Most of Europe has gone mad, I think that North America is only reall music market, overvelming succes of Nickelback just shows that, they have done on of best albums in years, but still they are nowhere to be found in Europe... sad...

I agree with half of what you just said, I mean James Blunt and Coldplay wtf? After saying that I have read in the press over here that Blunt is having some success in the US aswell. I do not agree with the second half though, I think any music market in which Nickelback are a success also has major problems. Their are many US bands who do well over here but they are usually the really great ones like GNR, Bon Jovi, Springsteen etc. Most people see through phoneys like Nickelback pretty quickly.

Bon Jovi have lost the airplay of Radio 1 and if they ever got played on Radio 2 they don't anymore either, which is a massive loss in the UK, plus their releasing below par stuff like WTWYA which barely got radio play from even the most favourable Jovi stations. So they need a strong 3rd single bottom line.

Probably I Am then Last Man Standing would be a good combo

I´m torn between I Am and Story Of My Life. The band need to do something just to make HAND even a medium success, but the record company will probably release something like Wildflower

Why not Who says...? I didn't find the song "instantly catching" when I first heard it, but now I do see its "hit potential". I think the song has proven itself to be a good single choice with its current chart-run in the US.
