I was wondering how many bootlegs of this exist? I am not asking here for the bootleg, but just how many exist? Apart from yokohama, of course.

Aloha !

No, they're all pretty shit to be honest. They never managed to nail the song. Unless you think that the Yokohama performance was awesome.

Salaam Aleikum,

I'd agree with Seb. I don't think the performances of it live ever quite hit the mood of the song on the album - even when I heard it at my first show it wasn't a standout track. It's Hard (Letting You Go) - that they nailed!!!

yeah, its hard letting you go always sounds great. So atmospheric. And Jon could probably still sing that one (if only he would!)

I just got back to this thread - and I have to agree with Seb too. A different problem is that though there are many recordings - most of them are poor recordings so the music doesn't come through as it should. Probably the best sound of the bunch that I posted is Osaka but I don't think it's a particularly inspired performance.

And yes - on the album it's a standout. One of my favorites.

This post will probably be of no help but the version i have is pretty good. I'm not sure where it is from though, maybe Yokahoma?? It has a girl that keeps screaming "Richie" at tfter the solo and near the end and she sounds like she has a Japanese accent.

MGLBIMA is one of my faves as well.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Yeah, they should bring that one back. That would be awesome. But they insist on playing Complicated instead. Ah, the madness going on in this world.

(It's Hard) Letting You Go is not that demanding. I think he can pull it off.
