Default Aerosmith: Quick question....

Just wondered, which Aerosmith albums, so far, have been remastered?

I know Pump was in 2001, but I recently bought Get A Grip (after having a copy of it for years) and noticed it has the years 1993 and 2001 on the back. I can't see anywhere that it says it's been remastered though.

Also, it is the 14-track version (without Can't Stop Messin') if that means anything. I know CSM was only included on certain versions of the album.

All of the Geffen albums apart from Nine Lives and A Little South Of Sanity. And to "celebrate" this the Anthology was released.

Can't Stop Messin' was included on the remaster of Get A Grip just as Bitter Wine was included on the remaster of These Days.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I have a copy with Can't Stop Messin' but cannot find any reference to 2001 on the cover or in the booklet. It also doesn't say that it is remastered

Small correction though, Nine Lives was released by Columbia.

Thanks Seb.

So basically, if an Aerosmith album has 2001 printed on it, then it's been remastered, correct?

My copy is 2001, but I don't have Can't Stop Messing, but I have it on the Young Lust: Anthology album anyway so it's no big deal.

Yes. That's what I was told. However, they remastered all the albums without telling anyone, it's not like with the Bon Jovi remasters that they wrote it on the artwork.

The version on Anthology is slightly different and is about a minute longer.
